Sex Offenses<\/h1>\n

Sex offenses are the new drug offenses. Now that the war on drugs is slowly losing steam, we need to declare war on something else, some other form of behavior.<\/p>\n

We have now declared war on sex. If you are convicted of a sex crime, or just a crime that something to do with sex, you may have restrictions on where you can live, who you can associate with, reporting requirements, your name in public as a registered sex offender, people afraid to have you next door because they are certain you about to sexually assault them or their children.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s not much fun to be a convicted sex offender and you need someone to represent you who knows how to do it. Not only are there the standard sex crimes, but approximately forty other crimes, even such a crime as burglary may put you on the sex offender registry. If, for instance, you committed a burglary at the girl\u2019s dorm to steal underwear, some prosecutor and judge somewhere may decide that the crime had a sexual component and require you to register as a sex offender.<\/p>\n
